SEIS Gazette Edition Two

Fall Fest
Reported by: Owen Dunbar

The Fall Fest was one of the most fun things that happened this year so far. There a lot of fun games like the monster foot race, corn hole, and paper airplane toss.  There were also many activities such as face paint, and a picture stand. The raffles were probably the best part.  Can’t wait for the next one.

Career Day
By Sierra Jenkins and Nate Ennis

Everyone has seemed to love career day. People were coming back with Puddy, Hershey kisses, and even a huge chocolate bar! Career day is one of the best days of the year because you get to miss out on class and learn about different jobs. You get to meet interesting people and do exciting activities.

Race For Education
By: Emily Sweatt

Our school’s Race For Education fundraiser was absolutely astonishing! The whole school had participated in this fun event, raising over 14,000 dollars. At this event the school had walked around the KD track, some ran. But a lot of people had participated in the obstacle course and pedometer challenge. Altogether this was a charitable event put together by the PTO. Be sure to thank them for this enjoyable school event!

Wave That Red Ribbon High!
Reported by: Cindy Thomas
Red ribbon week was spectacular! On Monday almost everyone in our school dressed in sweats. ( sweatshirts, and sweatpants) Tuesday was even more exceptional! Every kid in SEIS wore their mixed up clothing. On Wednesday every child wore his or her KD spirit to school! Thursday was just outstanding; students were wearing their jerseys. On Friday every kid looked marvelous in their autumn colors. Finally Tuesday, October 31st everyone wore their black and orange, saying that they are not afraid to say no.
The most important lesson of the week was: Don’t Do Drugs!

Egg Roulette

By: Owen Dunbar
When we met our goal for Race to Education Mr.Horton and Mr.Mulder had an egg roulette. An egg roulette is when two people have a dozen eggs half raw half hard-boiled. They take turns picking eggs and smashing them on each other's heads. The person who has the most hard-boiled eggs wins.
